The Tournament

The AfrAsia Golf Masters is the professional golf tournament organized by Canal+ Events in Mauritius. During these three days of competition, from 9th to 16th December 2012, it will bring together the twenty best golf players of the Classement National Allianz(French Professional Circuit) and ten guest players of the European Tour
(European Professional Circuit).

Hence, the competition is the highlight in the golf calendar: it is not only a reward for an entire year of competition but also a golden opportunity for promising players of the Allianz Golf Tour to rub shoulders and exchange ideas with experienced professionals from the European Tour.

The tournament, which appears on the calendar of the Federation Francaise de Golf, is worth €75,000. Moreover, all expenses (flights, accommodation) are offered to professional players.

The game is played on stroke play (each shot counts). On the first two days, an original pairing (one professional and one amateur) is established. Moreover the competition is preceded by two Pro-Am; the Pro-Ams mix professionals and amateurs in an opening round.
